Further to the CLP AGM on Friday 15th January, during which MP for Burnley, Julie Cooper, spoke about her private members bill to introduce free hospital car parking for carers, it has been proposed by one of our members that we might campaign on this issue, possibly in partnership with other local CLPs.

I would like to propose that Skipton and Ripon CLP  members take a look at this and let the committee know your thoughts re working on a local campaign to support it. In order for this to happen, we would of course need members to not only be supportive of action, but also to give time to help organise and implement it.
