Police & Crime Commissioner election meeting – Friday 5 September

The CLP have to select a Police & Crime Commissioner candidate to stand for Labour in North Yorkshire. There will be a CLP meeting on Friday 5 September at the Soroptimists Rooms, Skipton starting at 7:30 to elect our chosen candidate to stand for Labour.

The candidates are Kevin McNerney (an employment law barrister from Harrogate) and Steve Howley (brigade secretary of the Fire Brigade Union in North Yorkshire).

Candidate profile – Tania Brown (Skipton North)

Tania will be standing on Thursday 21 January 2016 in the Skipton Town Council by-election for Skipton North.

She works as a mental health liaison nurse at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

She is originally from Essex and studied Politics at York University.

She moved to Skipton three-and-a-half years ago and is very committed to the town and its people.
