Fundraising at Skipton Christmas Fair on Saturday 19 December

Each year we are involved in the Skipton Christmas Fair at the Town Hall on Saturday 19 December. It is a major fund raising event for the party.
There are 2 requests for help:
Firstly we need baking (cakes and scones etc.) to sell to visitors to have with their lunches and snacks
Secondly help is needed on the actual day (between 8.30 and 15.30) to assist with serving meals, washing-up, clearing tables etc.
Please contact us if you can help, no matter how small.

Meeting – 16 October 2015

A very good turn out at tonight’s meeting in Skipton – 40 new members have joined our CLP since last month, and 5 of them were in attendance this evening. Welcome to you all!

We discussed our new website social media strategy as well as candidates for the local elections in May, amongst other things. Watch this space for more news on both of those in due course.

The next Skipton and Settle branch meeting will be on Friday 20 November at the Soroptimist Rooms, Otey Street, Skipton at 7:30pm. Hope to see you there!
